Essential for any future Hollywood CPR student or contract employer seeking strong, job-ready candidates, this course builds the professional skills required to secure paid work and develop an outstanding portfolio. Students learn how to find and qualify for work, navigate set etiquette and industry norms, manage time sheets, work effectively with employers, and produce resumes, business cards, and portfolios that meet real production expectations while preparing for Work Experience Education courses such as FLM PRD 911.

Students gain skills necessary to locate work in the entertainment industry. Students will learn about set etiquette, job searching, craft researching strategies, industry norms, time sheets, working with employers, developing resumes and business cards, creating a portfolio, and other essential skills for their success.

Prerequisite: Grade of 'C' or higher in any first level craft course (FLM PRD140A, FLM PRD115A, FLM PRD120, FLM PRD110A)

This course completes the “Project Based Career Readiness” competency required to apply to Hollywood CPR Craft Training. (B or higher)
